Junior tennis stars will do battle for championship crowns this weekend in the eighth and final PwC tournament of the year.
Only the top eight players in each age group are invited to take part in the Masters Tournament, their rankings based on points earned over the past year on the PwC junior tennis circuit.
The Cayman Islands Tennis Club in South Sound is the venue, and play starts at 3 p.m. on Friday and runs through until Saturday afternoon.
Sebastian Bjuroe, only 7 years old, will be the youngest player in the tournament.
Spectators are welcome to watch the matches. These youngsters are well worth supporting. Numerous players have clocked impressive performances in regional tournaments and the top teens wielding their racquets this weekend rank among the best players on the island.
The PwC circuit is run by the Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands, with the help and support of local pros.
