Vendors have until Friday, Jan. 10, to bid for supplying food and beverages at this year’s National Heroes Day celebration.
Heroes Day will be held on Monday, Jan. 27 in Heroes Square in George Town.
The theme of this year’s Heroes Day is “Cultural Heritage.” Residents have nominated a number of individuals who have helped build local culture to receive National Heroes Day Awards in the categories of Early Pioneers, Pioneers, Memorial Scroll, Long Service and Emerging Pioneers.
The nomination period for awardees ended in September, and now bids for vendors to provide sustenance to those attending the popular event are currently being accepted.
Interested vendors are invited to submit bids to the Protocal Office by emailing [email protected] or delivering the bids to the Government Administration Building on Elgin Avenue.
