Ebanks will high five at air party

Tafari Ebanks, Cayman’s Amateur Boxing Olympic hopeful who has qualified for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July, has a special tune-up fight.

As part of a boxing demonstration that the Cayman Islands Boxing Association and Silverlight Sales have arranged to take place at the annual Island Air party beside the airport on Feb. 21, Ebanks will take top billing and face off against Kendric Stuart of the Bahamas.

Ebanks will then go to Sweden where he will take part in a six-week training camp with the Swedes, including several European boxing events as he builds towards the CAC (Central America and Caribbean) Games qualifiers in Mexico in May.
