Maples Sluggers and Rackam’s Crabbies are both off to slow starts on the diamond.
The B League stalwarts, who are a combined 3-7, will look to jump start a mid-season run when they collide in week six of the 2014 Winter Adult Coed Softball League, put on by the Cayman Islands Little League Association. The Field of Dreams is slated to host the contest on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. on field four. The Sluggers boast talents like Shawn Pitterson while the Crabbies have star players such as Mike Anderson.
Two other games are scheduled for Thursday. At 6:30 p.m., Home Gas Regulators face Delphi Geeks on field four and at 8:15 p.m., Dart battles Walkers Warriors on field three.
