Charles “Killa” Whittaker fought on a bill in Miami on Saturday and was outpointed in a middleweight match.
Denis “Momma’s Boy” Douglin (17-3, 10 KOs) cruised to a 10-round unanimous decision in a televised fight against Whittaker (40-16-2, 24 KOs) at the Casino Miami Jai Alai.
Douglin maintained a steady pace and relatively safe distance as he picked his southpaw shots against the Caymanian. Douglin may have a funny moniker but he evidently listened to instructions shouted to him ringside from his mother and also from Floyd Mayweather Sr.
