The government’s National Workforce Development Agency has hired a full-time director to guide the agency in its efforts to hire and promote Caymanians in the local jobs market.
Brian Holland, who is from New York, holds master’s degrees in public administration and urban planning and has more than 20 years’ experience in private and government workforce development.
“I am excited to be joining the NWDA to create and enhance economic and educational opportunities for Caymanians so that they may participate in a globally competitive workforce,” Mr. Holland said. “I welcome working with and developing partnerships in government, businesses and educational sectors to ensure NWDA meets the needs of job seekers and employers.”
Mr. Holland will assume his post on Dec. 1.
