Man in car robbed

A man sitting inside his car in central George Town overnight Thursday was robbed by two masked men, according to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.

Officers said the man was parked on Zeedah Cresent near Walkers Road at around 12:45 a.m. when he was approached by two masked men, one of whom carried a hand gun.

The suspects demanded money and ordered the victim out of the car, forcing him to lie face-down on the ground, police said. The masked robbers escaped with a Samsung cellular phone into Windsor Park, police said.

No injuries were reported.

  1. It should be evident to most people that, despite what you hear in some circles, the crime situation is out of control and is getting worse every day. Don’t be surprised if within the next five years people are being killed for something as simple as a mobile phone.

The country refuses to do what is necessary to get this problem under control and to allow law abiding citizens to legally protect themselves and their families from these criminals.
