The National Trust’s deadline for nominations for the Governor’s Conservation Awards is Friday.
The awards celebrate excellence in conservation in the Cayman Islands by recognizing individuals, businesses and organizations that have made a contribution to historic preservation or environmental conservation in Cayman.
Awards will be presented in four categories: conservationist of the year, corporate conservation, tourism industry, conservation and heritage preservation. Submissions will be judged by a panel convened by the governor, and a shortlist of finalists will be announced Nov. 10. The awards ceremony will be Nov. 19 at Government House.
