St. Ignatius Christmas raffle tickets on sale

Representatives of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and School will be outside local supermarkets this week selling raffle tickets to raise money for the school and churches in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac.

The fundraiser culminates on Dec. 17 with St. Ignatius’s annual Christmas Concert in Loyola Hall on the school campus on Walkers Road. The event features student musicians performing popular Christmas songs and carols.

The program concludes with the raffle drawing, with a top prize of $25,000, second prize of $2,500 and third prize of US$2,500. Additional prizes include five US$300 Cayman Airways travel vouchers and $50 gift certificates from Luca and Ragazzi restaurants.

Ticketholders need not be present to win. All winners will be notified by telephone on Dec. 17 or 18. The drawing is audited by KPMG.

Tickets cost $25 and are available at the school or church offices, from individual parents, students and church members, and at businesses such as Island Cleaners, Treats Restaurant, Rubis Walkers Road and Mike’s Ice. Full results will be posted online at and
