Bale is Real happy

Gareth Bale said he will not move to Manchester United because he is enjoying himself too much at Real Madrid.

Speculation is that the 25-year-old Welshman is joining United in a part-exchange deal involving goalkeeper David De Gea this summer.

But Bale said this week that he is enjoying winning trophies so much that he wants to stay at Real.

Bale moved to Spain for a world record $120 million fee two years ago and had the satisfaction of winning the Champions League last season and also the Copa del Rey.

But it has not all been great for the former Tottenham winger who took a while to settle in at the Bernabeu because of injury and indifferent form.

Now firmly settled in, Bale has scored 36 times and provided 26 assists in his 72 matches at Real.
