Equestrians in good form

Cayman has seen plenty of activity by riders with two local equestrian schools in recent weeks.

Riders from The Equestrian Centre and Cayman Riding School took part in the third of this year’s National Dressage Shows. The show provided the opportunity for the riders to gain points for the National Dressage Championship. In addition, riders were able to showcase talents in freestyle riding tests.

International judge Merri-Lynn Griffin presided over both venues. Griffin said she was encouraged to see so many young people know their tests thoroughly and produce some excellent results.

Isabella Finlay, Eva Muspratt, Meegan Slattery, Amara Thompson, Anja Van Genderen, Phoebe Serpell, Polly Serpell, Jessica McTaggart, Thea Millward and Ashley Van Den Bol all won in various categories.
