Pink Ladies group donates bike to hospital

The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps has donated an exercise bike to the Cayman Islands Hospital’s physiotherapy department.

Maggie Tomlin, pediatric physiotherapist at the department, identified the need for this specialized piece of equipment.

“The children’s bike is smaller than the typical exercise bike, allowing it to be used by our younger clients. It also features an arm cycle so children can now strengthen both their arms and legs and it’s also great for coordination,” Ms. Tomlin said.

The racing red bike features a large screen so children can see how fast they are cycling and for how long.
