The Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists 10K run, which has been a long-standing fixture in the community calendar, will be staged again on Sunday.
The event was started to promote health, fitness and community involvement.
Now in its 26th year, the race will continue the tradition of promoting fun, fitness and family.
It starts at the Academy Way and Walkers Road junction near the Family Life Centre and finishes at Cayman Academy. The main 10K run/walk begins at 6 a.m., and children’s races start at 6:45 a.m.
Marathon veteran Derek Haines ran it last year and will do so again this year.
In order to give back to the community, Cayman HospiceCare and Cayman Academy will be recognized.
