Digicel Junior series hosts 30 golfers

Course conditions were perfect for round 5 of the six-round Digicel Junior Golf Series at North Sound Golf Club on Sunday. Thirty golfers tooks part.

Thirty young golfers took part in round 5 of the six-round Digicel Junior Golf Series at North Sound Golf Club on Sunday. The course was immaculate and conditions were perfect, which is reflected in the scores.

Cayman Islands Golf Association Vice President James Walton thanked the parents and volunteers for helping the tournament run smoothly, as well as Digicel for their continued support.

Notable performances were Derek Peene with a personal best gross 76 and Josh Dickens winning his first ever tournament.

The Boys 18 hole flights are extremely close heading into the final round scheduled on April 17.

The next round of the Caribbean Amateur Junior Championship National team qualifiers starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
