The Easter weekend provides yet another opportunity for breaking bread with family or friends, and here are some choices of venues.
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman
Seven restaurant is hosting an English Garden Brunch from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, with breakfast favorites, seafood and carving stations, raw bars, paella, desserts and free-flowing bubbles. Cost is $150 per adult, with Champagne, and $109 without Champagne; $45 for children ages 6-12; $25 for children ages 3-5.
In the ballroom, the movie “Hop” will be playing, and the Easter Bunny will attend, offering entertainment for the children. An Easter egg hunt will take place on the Great Lawn, and there will also be a full buffet brunch for adults and children. Brunch on Easter Sunday runs from noon to 3 p.m., with breakfast stations, omelette stations, a sushi bar, raw bar, tapas, cold cuts and cheeses, a carving station and creperie, with bottomless De Chanceny’s Cremant de Loire. Cost is $90 for adults and $45 for children. An Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. and an appearance by the Easter Bunny round out the entertained. Call 949-0088 for reservations.

Ferdinand’s, Westin Grand Cayman resort
Easter Brunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring Marquis de la Tour sparkling wine and a Margarita Bar.
The food selection includes a salad bar, pasta and mac and cheese bar, charcuterie and artisanal cheese, dim sum, seafood and sushi, carving station, breakfast station and eggs, soups, desserts, and mains including bacon-wrapped pork loin, Cayman-style mahi mahi and jerk chicken.

Brunch includes a cold buffet with oysters, ceviche, seafood salad, sushi, salmon, lobster, tapenade, baba ganoush and hummus. The carving station serves beef Wellington, jerk turkey, roasted lamb leg, ham and snapper, and the main courses include seafood curry, eggplant parmigiana and chicken portobello. Eggs “a la minute” are also served to the table, with various styles to choose from.

There are two sittings, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with beach, balcony or inside seating available. Cost is $33.50 for adults, $16.50 for children 5–12; free for children 4 and under.
