On Monday, April 11, in East End a National Roads Authority cutting tractor was making the roads safer for motorists by assisting with controlling vegetation and other grass and weeds along the roadside. It is the duty of NRA to maintain the road shoulder but it is the responsibility of landowners to keep the bush maintained on their property.
Trees close to the road can present a hazard if not trimmed. High grass, weeds, brush and tree limbs can also obscure or limit a driver’s view. – Photo: Jewel Levey
