Following its re-brand, Lola Bistro is now open for dinner.
The restaurant, originally Upper Crust, chose to re-brand at the end of last year and open to the dinner crowd, in addition to offering its already popular breakfast and lunch menus.
Owner Nicola de Lima Maloir said she chose to rename the restaurant following demand from diners.
“We kept hearing from our customers that they would love the chance to dine with us for dinner as well as breakfast and lunch,” she said. “We took the opportunity to give our customers what they were asking for.”
Following an extensive re-design, Lola Bistro now has a chic and trendy interior with a “bistro” atmosphere, as well as a full bar.
“We have heard nothing but rave reviews about how fabulous the new changes look,” de Lima Maloir said. “The new layout, lighting and bar has achieved a cozy and intimate atmosphere that adds to the dining experience.”
The purse-friendly eatery on The Paseo in Camana Bay now offers an array of tantalizing bites for dinner, along with a wide selection of beers and wines, as well as signature handcrafted cocktails.
The menu includes sharing platters, soups and salads, sandwiches and burgers, homemade gourmet pastas, Certified Angus Beef steaks and French-inspired dishes, such as duck a l’orange and truffled boudin blanc. There are daily specials with seasonal ingredients or the local catch of the day.
Popular menu items include the French onion soup, chicken liver pate, escargot bourguignon, crawfish and shrimp croquettes, bistro burger, bacon-wrapped salmon and crepes Suzette.
Veteran bartender Ramases Maranan, better known as Ram, offers handcrafted cocktails using only the freshest ingredients, with items sourced from Cayman’s farmers whenever possible.
