DHL Sunday Football League kicks off

The DHL Sunday Football League returns to action this weekend with all the teams – Bounty Hunters, Fidel’s Old Boys FC, OtisAir Wanderers, Luca FC, Boca Juniors, Harry’s FC, Maples Revolution and Kings Head FC (formerly Whiskey Mist) – returning for another season.

Each side will play each of the other teams three times in the 21-game league schedule. In the opening round, OtisAir Wanderers will host Kings Head and Boca Juniors will play Luca at the T.E. McField annex. At Ed Bush field, Bounty Hunters will meet Fidel’s Old Boys and Harry’s will play Maples Revolution. Games are at 8:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. at both venues.

This season, all matches will feature personalized match-day footballs. The league’s knock-out cup competition is also back this season.
