Nov. 11: This first Friday of Pirates Week offers a 5K run, an extraordinary fireworks display, food festival and street dance.
Culture at the Cinema: ‘War horse’
Nov. 12: See the theater performance of “War Horse” on the big screen at Regal Camana Bay. Since its first performance at the National Theatre in 2007, “War Horse” has become an international smash hit, capturing the imagination of millions of people around the world. At its heart are astonishing life-size puppets by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage. Shark Talk Fundraising Dinner
Nov. 12: The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation and the Kenneth B. Dart Foundation will host the Shark Talk Cayman fundraising dinner at the new Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa with a keynote address from marine biologist and conservationist Sylvia Earle.
Before the banquet, an exclusive screening of Guy Harvey’s newest documentary ‘This is Your Ocean: Sharks 2’ will be shown at Regal Camana Bay. Tickets are available for $175 each or $1,750 for a table of 10. Buy tickets at the Guy Harvey Gallery and Shoppe or call 943-4891.
