No Business license meetings for a month

People seeking new trade and business licenses or renewals are advised to submit applications by the end of this month if they want their applications processed before 2017, according to the Department of Commerce and Investment.

The Trade and Business Licensing Board will hold its last meeting of the year on Dec. 6 and will resume its meetings on Jan. 10, board chairman Garth Arch said in a press release.

Anyone seeking renewals and grants of their trade and business licenses before the end of the year will have until Wednesday, Nov. 30, to submit their applications to the board via the Department of Commerce and Investment.

“As of Thursday, Dec. 1, applications received by DCI will not be processed until January,” the release stated.

However, the board advised that throughout December, Department of Commerce and Investment staff will continue accepting grant and renewal applications, and collecting all associated payments.

Applications can be submitted at the Business Licensing Counter, on the first floor of the Government Administration Building from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Trade and business licensing forms and general information are available at
