A 30-year-old West Bay man has been arrested on suspicion of rape in connection with an attack police said occurred on Good Friday, April 14.
According to the RCIPS, a 28-year-old woman said she was picked up by a stranger driving a truck along West Bay Road during the early morning hours that day.
Police said the woman was “subsequently subjected to a serious indecent assault.”
The suspect, who had not been charged at press time, was arrested Thursday.
