Burglars broke into two adjacent businesses on Eastern Avenue early on Tuesday morning, and attempted to break into two others, according to police.
The burglaries, which police said were carried out by two people, are believed to have occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Entry was gained through the rear of one business through the removal of a window, while the front glass door at the adjoining business was smashed, police said.
In a statement on the burglaries, issued Thursday morning, police said it was unclear what, if anything, had been taken in the break-ins.
