Eight promotions at Mourant

Mourant has made eight promotions at the law firm, including, top row from left, Chelsea Ayala, Christopher Levers, Finn Howie, Gemma Cowan; bottom row from left, Jessica Vickers, Julie Meinert, Rhiannon Williams and Sholey Thomas.

Offshore law firm, Mourant, has announced eight promotions in its Cayman Islands office.

Christopher Levers has been promoted to counsel in the Litigation team. Finn Howie, Gemma Cowan and Rhiannon Williams from the Finance, Corporate and Funds team have been promoted to senior associates, along with Jessica Vickers from the Litigation team.

Mourant Governance Services, which saw a 30% growth last year, has promoted Caymanians Chelsea Ayala, Julie Meinert and Sholey Thomas to senior administrator.

Cayman Islands office Managing Partner Hayden Isbister said the recent promotions come at a key stage of the firm’s ongoing strategic expansion in Cayman. “They send a strong signal to the market in terms of our growth and capability, and they also demonstrate our commitment to developing exceptionally talented people across all areas of our business.”

Mourant’s Cayman Islands office has seen an overall headcount increase of more than 10% since last year.
