A lane at the centre of a dispute between former government minister Mike Adam and his neighbour Wilson Mendoza is being turned into a public road.
Cabinet has announced plans for the new public road, Lissa Lane, in the Boatswains Bay area.
The proposed opening of Lissa Lane comes on the recommendation of the National Roads Authority, according to documents on the Lands and Survey Department website.
The road, which is near the junction of King Road and Judes Lane, would extend to the west, according to plans on the website.
Plans call for the loss of less than a half-acre of land from seven existing block and parcels.
This area of land was at the heart of a controversy over the easement of the lane earlier this year.
