A team of 13 girls from Cayman gymnastics studio Motions Unlimited earned a total of 22 medals at the Manhattan Classic gymnastics meet, held 25-26 Jan. in New York.

Jaiden Gilbert and Emmi Daykin won eight medals between them, including all-around gold in their respective divisions.

Gilbert dominated with a gold medal on the bars and added silver medals in the vault, beam and floor events to take the gold in the all-around in the Xcel Platinum level Senior A division, with a score of 37.450.

Daykin won all-around gold in the XP Junior B with a score of 36.600. She took first on the bars and tied for second in the vault. Teammate Sophia Simpson, competing at the XP Junior B level, earned herself bronze medals for both bars and floor en route to a fourth-place finish all-around.

Morgan Crowley and Bethany Hawkins each took home second-place all-around trophies in their age groups for the Xcel Gold level. Crowley claimed gold on vault, silver on bars and bronze on the beam. Hawkins also grabbed gold on the bars as well as bronze on the floor.

Emily Ching took a third-place spot in the all-around in the Level 4 Junior B division with a silver on the beam and a bronze for the floor, alongside teammate Naomi Tibbetts who took silver and tied for fourth in the all-around. Riley Watson won a silver medal on vault for USAG Level 3 Junior division.
