Department of Tourism releases Cayman video

In response to outreach from both past and future visitors, the Department of Tourism has released a new promotional video on the Cayman Islands.

Titled ‘Dreaming of Being Reunited’, the video was put together as a source of visual inspiration and motivation for one’s daydreams, according to the DoT.

Following on last year’s successful ‘Dream in Cayman’ advertising campaign, the video features scenes of Seven Mile Beach, Crystal Caves and Stingray City, as well as local flora and fauna, and culinary dishes.

“The things we dreamt of yesterday, are the same things we dream of today. Caymankindness, being with family, sharing a meal with friends, playing on the beach. We are dreaming of being reunited. Until then, we send you our love from the Cayman Islands.”

Cayman’s borders are likely to remain closed until the end of May, as countries around the world continue to fight the spread of COVID19.

Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman and Charles Kirkconnell International Airport on Cayman Brac have been closed to all but domestic flights since 22 March. Cruise ship arrivals in Cayman have also been banned.
