Cayman Airways closed its ticket office this weekend for a deep cleaning after an airline staffed tested positive for COVID-19.
The ticket office, which was closed on Saturday, is scheduled to reopen on Monday morning.
In a statement, Cayman Airways said, “We have activated our COVID-19 Response Plan, and this step is being taken in an abundance of caution.”
The airline said it was continuing to work with Public Health authorities.
In its statement, Cayman Airways said it wished its affected employee “a healthy recovery”.

As of Friday, there were 271 active cases of COVID-19 in Cayman, including 178 symptomatic cases. Two people remain in hospital.
