The super-yacht Arctic Pride II was seen docked Thursday morning at George Town harbour.
The luxury vessel measures 46m and was built in 2020, according to the website VesselFinder.
The sight of the luxury vessel created a stir with onlookers, some of whom contacted the Cayman Compass about the docked yacht.
The yacht is currently sailing under the flag of Marshall Islands, and its registered owner is listed as Jossy 2 LLC.
Arctic Pride II’s last port of call was 10 days ago in Saint Augustine, Florida. It was seen in Bermuda back in June.
Currently, around a dozen super-yachts – luxurious vessels in the 100-feet-plus range – visit Cayman each year, according to industry estimates.
The limited visits is hampered by a lack of infrastructure as there are no facilities to berth the vessels.
It is unclear if anyone disembarked from the vessel.
