Euler Digital has acquired 100% of the equity of independent artificial intelligence (AI) research platform AI Forum.

Euler Digital SEZC, based at Cayman Enterprise City, is a decentralised technology firm focussed on artificial intelligence.

The company uses blockchain technology to create a global, open eco-system for data, models, applications, computation and products. Its sovereign blockchain, Euler Digital Blockchain (EDB), is in testnet.

Among others, the company is building a marketplace and new models for value transfer, such as AI non-fungible tokens (AI-NFTs), with a aim of making AI more accessible and affordable.

“I am delighted that AI Forum has gone to an AI blockchain firm,” said AI Forum founder Peyman Mestchian. “You do not need to be an expert in either field to grasp the significance of these two domains coming together in one company. AI Forum’s customers will benefit from the addition of blockchain AI knowledge, which will inevitably drive new insights and discoveries.”

Euler Digital’s managing director Ian Gilmour said, “As soon as we got a sniff of this deal, we knew we had to add this world-class platform to our growing portfolio.

“Whilst Peyman [Mestechian] is irreplaceable, we are going to build on his legacy and continue to deliver cutting edge research. Adding our blockchain skills offers new opportunities in fields such as EdgeAI,” he added.

At the same time, Gilmour announced AI Forum’s first new with Cudos, a decentralised cloud computing network.

Cudos’s CMO, David Pugh-Jones, said AI Forum provides a channel to educate chief information officers on the significant benefits of decentralised cloud, including the environmental benefits of leveraging idle capacity for AI high performance workloads.

AI Forum will add a subscription model that will provide premium access to proprietary research, special rates for a forthcoming AI Forum marketplace and technical support for listing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other tokenised products on EDB mainnet, Euler said.
