The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre is holding its 7th Annual Power of the Purse Luncheon and fundraiser at The Ritz-Carlton on Friday, 17 June from noon to 3:30pm.
Past events have featured an extraordinary list of keynote speakers, including Erin Brockovich, Cheryl Strayed, Jeanette Walls and Amanda Lindhout. This year’s keynote speaker, Trish Kendall, is yet another amazing woman with a heartbreaking, riveting, and ultimately triumphant and inspirational story to tell.
All guests will be treated to two complimentary glasses of wine, passed canapés, lunch and a unique dessert. Just as before, there will also be a silent auction featuring a heady array of designer bags, as well as the chance to win a fantastic raffle prize.
The proceeds of this important event go to a very worthy cause – the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre – and since its inception, over US$200,000 has been raised, thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors.
