XQ’s hosts Breast Cancer Foundation fundraiser

The Sandkickers band will be providing live music on the night.

Fans of live music might remember a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Foundation at XQ’s in 2019.

It was pretty much standing room only, and over $6,000 was raised for the non-profit – a very successful night indeed.

As a result, the popular restaurant and bar is planning a repeat performance, happening on Saturday, 25 June from 7:30pm. The Sandkickers band will be performing, along with a host of friends, guaranteeing a great evening out for all who attend.

The musicians play a wide range of music, including classics and Top 40, so the repertoire promises something for everyone. They are also donating their services to the cause.

“It’s wonderful to be doing this event again,” said Peter Davies of the Sandkickers. “It was a brilliant night the last time – a terrific atmosphere – and we were really happy with the amount of money we raised.

“We hope people will come out to support us on Saturday and help make the magic happen for the Breast Cancer Foundation.”

Tickets are $25, and include a welcome drink, hors d’oeuvres, the entertainment, and a chance to win prizes donated by many well-known local businesses. Buy tickets at XQ’s or call 947-9770.

It’s recommended that you get there early if you want a seat. You have been warned.
