Pride parade and parties promise colourful weekend

The Pride Parade in 2021 was a big affair with hundreds participating.

Despite having to postpone the Pride flag-raising event scheduled for Saturday, 23 July, due to rainy weather, the spirits of organisers were not dampened as they revved up preparations for the coming weekend.

Starting with ‘An Evening with the Queens’ at Next Door on Thursday, 28 July, the schedule includes a registration party, the parade and post-celebration event, and a boat ride.
Although event tickets are being sold in order to raise money for the Cayman LGBTQ Foundation’s programmes and projects, there are sponsored packages up for grabs for the first 70 people who email in.
