Centralis to acquire the business of Danesmead Ltd

Luxembourg, London and Cayman:  Centralis today announced their intention to expand their Cayman business operations through the proposed acquisition of the business of Cayman-based directorship services provider Danesmead Ltd. The deal will see the acquisition of a varied client portfolio across the alternative asset space including private equity, real estate & hedge funds.

Centralis Group is a leading alternative asset and corporate services provider, offering a full range of services and expertise to its global client base. It has established itself as an industry leader providing a customer-centric tailored service via over 270 highly experienced professionals. The Group is headquartered in Luxembourg, with presence in 13 countries globally and recently launched a new Governance, Compliance and Risk service line on the acquisition of Wheelhouse Advisors.

Danesmead is a unique firm specialising in offering highly experienced independent directors & governance services to the alternative funds industry. Two further senior industry professionals, Kim Bishop and Richard Scott-Hopkins, recently joined the Danesmead team.

The transaction will significantly broaden Centralis’ Governance, Risk & Compliance offerings to the alternative investment sector, and further complements the Group’s strategic goal of building its client base in this fast-growing segment of the financial outsourcing market.
