The Cayman Islands men’s national rugby team enjoyed a comfortable win over Mexico on Saturday.

In front of a packed Truman Bodden Sports Complex, the Cayman team defeated the visiting Mexicans 35-14.

Cayman controlled the test match from the off, putting the visitors to the sword in a dominant first half display.

Key players like Justin May helped the home squad stack up a 26-0 lead before the interval.

The Mexicans played better in the second half, registering points on the scoresheet, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit accumulated in the first half.
