The Health Services Authority has released its holiday operating hours.
The Accident and Emergency Department of the Cayman Islands Hospital will be open 24 hours a day throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays.
HSA clinics
- Smith Road Medical Centre Pharmacy and Cayman Islands Hospital Pharmacy will be open 9am – 5:30pm on the public holidays.
- All outpatient clinics (Grand Cayman and Sister Islands) and District Health Centres will be:
- Closed Monday, 26 Dec. and Tuesday, 27 Dec., with normal operating hours resuming on Wednesday, 28 Dec.
- Closed Monday, 2 Jan., with normal operating hours resuming on Tuesday, 3 Jan.
- Urgent Care Clinic in Grand Cayman:
- Open Saturday, 24 Dec. 9am-1pm
- Open Monday, 26 Dec. 9am-3pm
- Closed Tuesday, 27 Dec. with normal operating hours (8am–11pm) resuming on Wednesday, 28 Dec.
- Closed Monday, 2 Jan. with normal operating hours (8am–11pm) resuming on Tuesday, 3 Jan.
COVID-19 SERVICES
- COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be closed on the public holidays. For the latest COVID-19 vaccination schedule, visit www.hsa.ky/public-health/coronavirus/.
- Confirmation PCR testing at Truman Bodden Sports Complex (drive through) will be closed on Monday, 26 Dec., Tuesday, 27 Dec. and Monday, 2 Jan. The Truman Bodden drive-through will open on Wednesday, 28 Dec., Friday, 30 Dec., Wednesday, 4 Jan. and Friday, 6 Jan. from 8am–11am. Regular schedule will resume 9 Jan.
- Confirmation PCR testing in Cayman Brac at the Public Health Clinic, Faith Hospital will be closed on Monday, 26 Dec., Tuesday, 27 Dec. and Monday, 2 Jan. Regular hours will resume during the week 9am–10am.
