Last Friday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day), the Logic Business team hosted its 2nd annual charity golf invitational, which raised funds for the National Children’s Voluntary Organization (NCVO). The event was a great success, with 112 participants that formed 28 sponsored teams, which represented various local businesses coming together to support a very deserving cause.

The NCVO is a non-profit organization that provides support to vulnerable children and families in need in the Cayman Islands. Their programs include a foster care program, a scholarship program, and a children’s services center.

We are honored to have been able to support the NCVO through this year’s tournament

“We are honored to have been able to support the NCVO through this year’s tournament,” said Siobhan James-Alexander, Logic’s CEO, “Their work is vital, and we are proud to have been able to contribute to their efforts. As a member of the local business community, it is important to us to not only conduct business, but to be part of change and give back.”

“Thanks to the generosity of the participants and sponsors, we were able to raise $27,691 for the NCVO and accumulated over $40,000 in prizes that were won throughout the day, which were donated by 50 generous companies within the Cayman business community.”

This year’s tournament was particularly special, as it marked the launch of the new Logic Business brand and provided the opportunity for team members to meet and engage with clients and volunteers, in a relaxed and fun setting.

“We are thrilled to have been able to launch the new Logic Business brand and team at this year’s tournament,” said Jeff Hart, Logic’s Head of Business Solutions. “The Logic Business team is all about connecting, fostering relationships and collaborating to get results, and this event was the perfect way to kick things off.”

The tournament was a resounding success, with participants enjoying a beautiful day on the golf course (barring a few intermitted rain delays) while also raising funds for a worthy cause. The Logic Business team would like to congratulate the TRAC Automotive team for being this year’s first place winners!

The Logic Business team looks forward to hosting many more events like this and continuing to support charitable organizations in the communities we serve.
