Two armed men stole cash from the register and safe of a shop on North Church Street in George Town in a daylight robbery on Friday, 19 May.
Just after 5:30pm police officers were called to the store just north of Mary Street, where the masked and robbers, each brandishing a firearm, had entered the store and demanded cash.
They fled through the rear entrance of the store with the money, police said.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
Shortly after visiting the scene, officers located a vehicle in George Town, which is suspected to have been used by the men. It has been recovered to be forensically processed.
