Video | The grand visit beach clean

A beach clean up was held Sunday morning at East End Wall across from East End Primary.

More than 100 people showed up and collected more than 800 pounds of trash from the beach.

Attendees included members of the Coast Guard, East End Primary students, the Little Miss Cayman group, Compass Media and members of Protect Our Future.

Plastic Free Cayman will hold another beach cleanup Sunday, 28 May from 8-10am at Lovers Wall in East End.

  1. Congrats to all those who participated in cleaning the East End Wall beach area. At this point, Cayman should have a budget item that regularly pays for Public Works to
    clean the beaches of the trash , which of course is the main selling feature while visiting Cayman. A few days a year is not enough to clean and maintain Cayman’s beaches.
