A 54-year-old man accused of raping and indecently assaulting a girl more than a dozen times over the course of three years has denied the allegations.
Noel Paul Manning faces four counts of rape, eight counts of indecent assault and one count of attempted rape.
Manning, of Bodden Town, is alleged to have first raped the child and indecently assaulted her when she was 5 years old sometime between 1 June and 31 Aug. 2015. It is also alleged that he repeated the acts against the child between the same dates in 2016 and then again in 2018.
He also faces a single charge of attempted rape related to a separate alleged sexual assault of the child.
A seven-day trial has been set for 4 Dec., and Manning has been released on bail.
