CHF Heart of the Jungle Masked Ball – a Roaring Success!

Jessica Bodden of Bloom Consulting was MC Extraordinaire for the evening

The theme for the Cayman Heart Fund’s premier gala event was the ‘Heart of the Jungle Masked Ball’ inspired by the Animal Ball that takes place every three years at Lancaster House, London, hosted by Their Majesties The King and Queen.

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman (4 October 2023) – The Cayman Heart Fund welcomed over 150 guests to the Kimpton Seafire Resort Ballroom on World Heart Day, Friday 29 September 2023 for the return of its first gala event since 2016.

The Heart of the Jungle Masked Ball, hosted by Jessica Bodden of Bloom Consulting, was a dazzling tribute to the Animal Kingdom where guests arrived adorned in bespoke animal themed masques created by artisans from around the world. This glamourous black-tie event raised over KYD$50,000 in funds for the lifesaving community health programmes of the Cayman Heart Fund.

New features of the event kept things fresh and exciting for guests and included “Raffle Boutiques” where guests could buy a ticket specifically for ladies, gentlemen, or experience “Shoppes” that were beautifully designed by Priscilla Maragh Events. Then, at 10:30pm when the formal part of the event had concluded the draped wall was pulled back to reveal a private “Jungle Lounge” after party hidden right in the ballroom. Complete with its own DJ, Bar, and seating this space was courtesy of sponsor CIBC First Caribbean and, needless to say, it was a hit with the guests who danced the night away to 1am.

“I was delighted to work again with Jessica Bodden of Bloom Consulting on the production of this event”, said Ally Olarou, CHF Coordinator. “Through this partnership we have managed to raise over USD$100,000.00 for the Cayman Heart Fund’s lifesaving community programs in 2023.” She added.
