Police are investigating a Boxing Day hit and run on West End Road East on Cayman Brac.
Shortly after 7:30pm, on Tuesday, 26 Dec., police and other emergency services responded to a report of an incident, and found a man lying on the ground.
It was reported that the victim was leaving an establishment with a friend and, while crossing the road, was struck by a white Honda Fit. The vehicle left the scene. Police said the victim was taken to Faith Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries, and is currently in a stable condition.
Cayman Brac police are investigating the incident and request that anyone with information about the incident or knowledge of the whereabouts of the vehicle, which sustained damage to the left rearview mirror, contact the Cayman Brac Police Station on 948-0331.
