Man treated for head injury after three-vehicle collision

A man was taken to hospital with a head injury after three vehicles collided on Shedden Road in George Town on Saturday, 30 Dec.

Emergency services responded to the crash near the junction with Thomas Russell Way and North Sound Road shortly after 11.30pm, police said in a press release.

The driver who sustained a head injury was transported by ambulance to Cayman Islands Hospital where he was treated and later released.

Of the three other people who were involved in the incident, two were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. They were assessed by a physician and released, police said.

The matter is under investigation by the RCIPS Traffic and Road Policing Unit. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information can contact the unit on 649-6254.
