Prosecution and defence lawyers continued to make legal arguments in the absence of the jury in the McKeeva Bush indecent assault trial on Tuesday.
The jury, which returned to the courtroom briefly on Tuesday, were told by Justice Stanley John to come back to court on Wednesday morning.
Details of the counsel’s arguments, which began on Monday, cannot be reported for legal reasons.
The veteran politician faces two charges of indecent assault, and two alternate charges of common assault.
The charges stem from two separate alleged incidents at a regional tourism conference cocktail reception at The Ritz-Carlton hotel on 13 Sept. 2022. Bush denies all charges.
