Drayson Watson, who is facing wounding charges following the stabbing outside the Turtle Centre in West Bay, of 78-year-old Kenneth Christian, who died three days later, has had his court bail extended.
Watson appeared before Justice Cheryll Richards in Grand Court on Friday, 29 May.
He faces charges of wounding causing grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent, as well as two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon – a knife – in relation to the 20 May stabbing at the Turtle Centre, where Watson worked.
Christian passed away on 23 May.
As of Monday, when Watson made an initial appearance in Summary Court before his case was transmitted to the higher court, no post mortem had been completed. The post mortem was not mentioned at Friday’s appearance.
Richards bailed Watson to return to Grand Court on 26 June. His bail conditions remain the same as those set when he made his initial appearance, including surrendering his passport, wearing an electronic monitor, reporting three times a week to George Town police station and adhering to a 6pm to 5am curfew.
