Cayman Turtle Crawl 5K walk/run set for 26 April

The Cayman Turtle Conservation and Education Centre announced that its ‘Turtle Crawl 5K walk/run’ will take place on 26 April.

The annual event brings together families, fitness enthusiasts and conservation supporters for a morning that celebrates wellness and Cayman’s natural heritage.

Walkers will kick off the event at 6am, followed by runners at 6:30am, with all participants beginning at Cayman Turtle Centre and making their way along Northwest Point Road toward West Bay Public Beach before returning to the Centre.

The presenting sponsor for the walk/run this year is the Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainability. The Cayman Turtle Conservation and Education Centre is also inviting members of the business community to partner with them as sponsors and can reach out to the centre via [email protected]

At the event, participants will enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere, race-day camaraderie and the opportunity to directly support the Centre’s conservation efforts. Funds raised contribute to the Turtle Centre’s mission-driven programmes, including release of green sea turtles, environmental education, scientific collaboration and veterinary care for animals within the Centre’s facility.
