Seven people were taken to hospital for treatment on Monday night following a collision involving a Kia Sorento and Nissan Frontier in East End.
Police, in a short statement Tuesday afternoon, said the five occupants of the Kia and two occupants of the Nissan were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The Cayman Compass has reached out for an update on the victims, and is awaiting a response from the RCIPS.
The collision happened shortly before 6:40pm on Monday along Seaview Road, East End, police said.
Police said the vehicles, a red Kia Sorento and a grey Nissan Frontier, collided, causing the Kia to overturn.
Cayman Islands Fire Service officers and emergency services attended scene and the fire officers extracted the occupants of the Kia from the vehicle.
The matter is currently under investigation.
