The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service received a report of a wounding on Market Street in Camana Bay this weekend.
Police said the incident happened at about 7:40pm on 16 March, and that the two men involved knew one another.
“The injured man was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries to the head and released,” RCIPS media relations officer Jodi-Ann Powery wrote.
Police are investigating the incident.
