Update 6:50pm: Police have reopened the roadway along Linford Pierson following Tuesday afternoon’s collision in which two construction workers were injured.
Original story: Police and emergency services are at the scene of a collision on Linford Pierson Highway.
According to a police statement issued at 3:55pm, the collision occurred on the easterly lanes, which are closed while emergency services respond to the incident.
Two people have been transported to the hospital for treatment, police said.
