Workforce Opportunities and Residency Cayman will move its customer care operations back to Apollo House from next Monday.
While renovation work was carried out at Apollo House, the department temporarily relocated to Artemis House on Fort Street in June.
The WORC office will close at 1pm on Friday, 30 Aug., to facilitate the move back to Apollo House, at 87 Mary Street, and reopen at 8:30am on Monday, 2 Sept.
“The Customer Care Team is excited to continue serving the public in this newly renovated facility, which offers a modern and welcoming environment. WORC is hopeful that this upgraded space will cater to the diverse customers we serve daily and enhance their experience,” the department said in a statement Monday.
It added, “WORC would like to remind customers about the new WORC Services platform and encourages them to utilise it for submitting payments instead of in-person transactions to avoid extended wait times.”
