In Cayman, career and job fairs are held throughout the year, representing a wide range of industries spanning tourism, financial services and legal to technology, health and education.
CAREERS, EDUCATION AND TRAINING EXPO
The Careers Expo is the largest of its kind in the Cayman Islands, attracting hundreds of students seeking to connect with potential employers, learn about various career fields, and gain insights into industry expectations.
Hosted by the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce, the event provides a platform for private sector businesses and government entities to showcase job opportunities, scholarships, internships, and work-shadowing programmess to students and school leavers.
The event aims to inform the future workforce about emerging career trends, connect businesses with potential talent and provide networking and learning opportunities for attendees.
“Our ultimate goal is to inform, motivate, and excite the workforce of tomorrow,” says Emily Sintorn, co-ordinator of signature events and training at the Chamber.
The 2025 Expo was a record-breaking success, attracting more than 400 attendees and featuring 42 exhibitors and sponsors from across all sectors.
This year’s Expo is set for Friday, 27 March at the University College of the Cayman Islands.
CAYMAN ISLANDS FURTHER EDUCATION CENTRE (CIFEC) CAREER FAIR

Held annually in September, the CIFEC Career Fair is designed specifically for Year 12 students who are preparing to transition directly into the workforce or further education.
This flagship event provides students with opportunities to network, submit résumés, and gain first-hand insights into different industries and future career paths. It also serves as a recruitment platform, providing connections for internships, mentorships, scholarships, and full and part-time employment.
Last year’s fair connected more than 250 students with around 80 employers in the public and private sectors, with many government officials in attendance including the governor, premier and minister for education.

THE LAYMAN E. SCOTT SR. HIGH SCHOOL CAREER FAIR
This annual career fair in Cayman Brac offers students opportunities to explore career paths and connect with industry professionals. Last year, more than 40 organisations were on hand to offer students insights into various careers, internships and jobs.
Students engaged with representatives from such diverse sectors as education, law, healthcare, engineering, hospitality, finance, law enforcement and entrepreneurship. The 2026 career fair is set for 20 March..
CLIFTON HUNTER HIGH SCHOOL (CHHS) CAREER FAIR
Held annually in January, the CHHS Career Fair provides an opportunity to explore diverse career paths and network with industry professionals. The event also provides students with an opportunity to secure internships, learn about training programmes and scholarship opportunities.
Last year’s fair attracted more than 600 students, with 45 businesses and government departments taking part.

JOHN GRAY HIGH SCHOOL CAREER FAIR
Held annually in February, this career fair provides students with a first-hand view of career options across a wide range of industries. Around 700 students attended last year’s fair, where more than 60 employers, educational establishments, government agencies, and community partners were on hand. This year’s career fair is set for 27 Feb.
CAYMAN ISLANDS MONETARY AUTHORITY (CIMA) CAREER FAIR & MIXER
The CIMA Career Fair & Mixer is aimed at young Caymanians interested in pursuing a career in the financial services industry. Designed for students aged 17 to 24, including university students and recent graduates, the event offers a range of events – from speed interviews and digital exhibits to networking sessions.
Along with government and CIMA representatives, participants have a chance to meet face-to-face with top employers in the finance world, gain insights at career-focused workshops and explore potential job openings. The event takes place annually in August.

WORC DISTRICT DAYS
Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) hosts a series of district days – spanning from West Bay to East End – for Caymanian job seekers.
District Days serve as a platform for community engagement, with the primary objectives of registering Caymanian job seekers to provide them with access to WORC’s employment support services and sharing information regarding career guidance and training opportunities available.
WORC invites businesses and organisations to participate in these events to offer opportunities for job seekers to gain insight into potential career paths, while enabling employers to connect with prospective employees and apprentices.
WORC District Days are held annually, usually in March or April.
TOURISM JOB FAIRS
The Cayman Islands Tourism Association frequently partners with the government and other organisations to host and promote tourism-related job fairs and open houses. These events offer networking and recruitment opportunities, along with information on career options and trends within the tourism and hospitality sector.
